1. First immerse yourself in the Netra teertham or Netra Pushkarini and worship Lord Netra vinayaga with Arugampul (Tamil) - Bermuda Grass (English) - Garike hullu (Kannada) which is available near the temple. 3. Take Traditional Camphor Crystals (pacha karpooram), 2 Kgs of Vibhuti for 'Vibhuti Abhishekam', Offer 1 Kg for Lord Vellai Pillaiyar (Swetha Vinayakar or Nurai pillaiyaar) and 1 Kg for Lord Shiva who is Mein deity in this temple.
   
   
4. After 'Vibhuti Abhishekam' you will get back the vibhuti, get this to home and apply this vibhuti everyday to get rid of sinus, breathing, headache problems.
   
   
5. After Visiting Vellai Pillaiyar Temple and offering poojas, Come back to Arulmigu Swaminatha Swami Temple - Swamimalai and offer oleander(English) - Alari Poo(Tamil) - Kanigle Hoovu(Kannada) flowers to Lord Swaminatha Swami.
