    No, We should not have owl or turtle as pets.

  • Can we have the statue of owl at homes?

    Silver Owl.

    Yes, we can have the idol of owl [Goobe - Kannada ; āndhe - Tamil] made of Gold or Silver or Panchaloha in Pooja Room. Since it is the vahana of Goddess Lakshmi. But statue made up of plastic, wood or any other material is not fit for pooja room, you can keep it in showcase.
    According to Guruji Shri Narendra Babu Sharmaji, if the owl sits in any of the home by itself, the person in that home will become crorepati within 10years.

  • Can we have the statue of tortoise at homes and in which direction it has to be placed?

    Yes, we can have statue of tortoise at homes. The Feng Shui Black Tortoise should be placed in North [Uttara - Kannada ; Vadakku - Tamil] Direction.

  • What to do with the old god frames or idols which get damaged?

    Peepal Tree.

    Many people keep it under the peepal tree in the temple premises. This is done because, giving back to nature what we get from nature. Instead of keeping it under the peepal tree, you can drop it in any water sources or bodies like river, lake, sea etc.. Drop it in the place where human activities are less in the sense the nails in the frame does the hurt the human beings i.e drop it deep inside so that it does not hurt anyone.

  • Can we apply kumkum or Gejje vastra [a string prepared using cotton] to the door frame?

    Gejje vastra.

    No, we should not apply kumkum or gejje vastra to any door frame. The Arishana Kumkuma can be applied to Main Door Threshold (Hosalu - Kannada / VasPadi - Tamil) only.
