We have use 13 Chillies and 1 lemon which represents 14 lokas. A string is pushed through the lemon and chillies and is tied in front of shops.
First insert 7 chillies and then insert lemon and then insert remaining 6 chillies. i.e bottom should have 7 chillies and top should have 6 chillies and in between you have to place lemon. This signifies 14 lokas, in which lemon is boo loka (Earth).

Note: Chillies must be used only in Business establishments. We should not use Chillies for houses, we should use only lemon as mentioned above (To ward off evil eye and frighten evil spirits).
