A caller had asked Brahmanda Guruji, Shri Narendra Babu Sharmaji regarding his job who get lot of interviews and clears it 80% but fails at the end. Guruji asked him to visit the temple given below and follow the below procedure.
One has to visit Maraghathambigai Chandrachoodeshwarar Temple situated at the top of the hill in Hosur City of Tamilnadu (Near Bangalore around 45 kms - On the Border of Karnataka).
The presiding diety is Lord Shiva with the Moon on His head (Chandra means 'Moon', chandrachoodesh is one who wears the moon) and hence the name of the temple.
You have to visit the temple on the day of Ashtami in the evening.
Items required:
01. Green Gram/Moong Dal (Hesaru Bele in Kannada ; Paasi Paruppu in Tamil) - 02 Kgs
02. Pegion Pea/Toor Dal (Togari Bele in Kannada ; Tuvaram Paruppu in Tamil) - 01 Kg
03. Jaggery (Bella in Kannada ; Vellam in Tamil) - 01 Kg
04. Usli (Sundal or Chundal in Tamil) made from Black Chickpea (Kadale Kaalu in Kannada ; Konda Kadalai in Tamil)
05. One piece of Red Cloth (Kempu Vastra in Kannada ; Segappu Thuni in Tamil)
You have to offer Green Gram to Goddess Durga ; Pegion Pea and Jaggery to Lord Subramanya ; Black Chickpea Usli to Lord Kalabhairava, Veerabhadra & Nandishwara.
You have to place the red cloth on your neck and offer your prayers in the temple and don't offer the cloth to temple.
On the way back to your home you have to leave/forget the red cloth along with your footwear and reach home. If you are travelling by bus, you can leave it in the bus itself or leave it anywhere on the way back.
About Temple: Chandrachudeshwara hill is perhaps the most important and beautiful landmark of Hosur. The hill is accessible via a long flight of evenly laid steps or a recently built concrete road. The hilltop has a sprawling, ancient and beautifully constructed temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to local guides the temple was originally built between during circa 256-260 AD by a Hoysala king Bharadwaja Atthi Akshvaku and that the temple was renovated and expanded in circa 1261 AD. Currently the temple has a 20-ft tall fort-like stonewall surrounding the entire perimeter. Inside is the main prakara (circumambulatory path) where one can see the tall, majestic and colourfully painted Rajagopuram atop the main entrance of the temple.
The temple, built entirely of stone has several solid stone pillars of various shapes, circular, square, hexagonal and octagonal supporting the roof of long neatly stacked stone slabs. While some pillars are adorned with attractive relief sculptures, others are just smoothly finished. There are several sub-shrines dedicated to Muruga, Ganesha,Nayanmars and saints inside the main temple.
